God Sees My Misery and Knows My Troubles

When we are suffering, we can feel vey alone. It can seem to us that no one else knows what we're going through, and no one understands our pain. Then, Satan comes to make us feel even more lonely and depressed. We, as Christians, must never let that happen to us. We need to remember that God is there for us.

David suffered a lot, and he had come to realize these realities. (Psalm 31:7) He said that he would rejoice and be glad in God's faithfulness, because God had seen his misery and He had known the troubles of his soul. This should bring a smile to all of our faces. God is faithful, and we can count on Him.

God is observing us. He sees our joys and our misery. He knows just what we are experiencing. He knows how much we can take, so at the right time and in the right way, He is faithful to step in and come to our rescue, as we trust Him each day.

However, even more comforting is the fact that He knows the troubles of our soul. He knows what is going on in our mind, and He knows how to give us His peace to calm us. He knows the struggle we are having to make those tough decisions, and He is faithful to give us wisdom to do the right thing. Also, He feels what we feel, and He is faithful to lift our feelings and our spirits out of the pits of life. Let's rejoice and be glad like David was because of these realities.
