The Battle is God's

 When we are living in God's will and doing what He desires for us to do, we do not need to be afraid or discouraged when things seem to be going wrong. We need to realize that He is with us, and whatever battles we have to fight, He will fight for us. This should bring us great peace.

God told this to His people. (II Chronicles 20:15) The prophet of God told the people of Judah and Jerusalem, as well as, King Jehoshaphat to listen to what God said. "Do not be afraid. Don't be discouraged by this mighty army, for the battle is not your, but God's." What a relief!

We belong to the Lord. He is our Father. We are His children. Like any Good Father, He wants to protect us from harm. He wants to guide us, so that we do not get hurt. He will do these things as we trust Him daily. 

However, we will still have trials. We will still have battles to fight, and sometimes it will seem that we can't win. However, God is with us, and He will fight for us, so we can win any battle. We must constantly assure ourselves of this truth and stand with our confidence in God, not in ourselves.
