Seven Things God Hates

God made it clear to us what He hates in various places in His Word. However, there is no better list than the one Solomon gave us. (Proverbs 6:16-19) We should avoid these seven things at all costs.

1. A proud look
2. A lying tongue
3. Hands that shed innocent blood
4. A heart that devises wicked plans
5. Feet that are swift in running to evil
6. A false witness who speaks lies.
7. One who sows discord among brethren.

Now, how many of those things do we hear on the news each day? That is a reflection on how God feels about our country. How many of those have you done recently? That is a reflection of how God feels about your life. He loves all of us, but if we do these things, He hates our actions. Since God is righteous, He will always punish sins. Therefore, if we practice these sins, we can be assured of God's anger toward us.
