That They May Know
God does what He does, so that all people may come to know that He is the Lord of all and have a close personal relationship with Him.(Psalm 83:13) He wants us to carry out the same mission, so that they may know He is Lord. However, they will never know unless we get serious about communicating the Good News of the Lord Jesus to them.
The truth is that there is only one whose name is Lord. He is the Most High God over all the earth. If He is Lord, we must obey Him, and we must get the word to those who don't know. What is His plan for you to complete your part of this vital mission? There is something for each believer to do, so that they may know.
Let us act in compassion. Let us act with urgency. Let us never give up finding ways to get through to everyone about the Lord. Yes, the people of this world are more resistant to the Lord than ever before, but that is no excuse for aborting His mission for us. Remember, our Loving Lord wants everyone to have a personal relationship with Him, the Lord of all. We must never give in to complacency, just because we know Him. There are many more who need to know.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Psalms 84-87.
