God Sees and Knows All

Job's case for being righteous before God is even more believable, because he held the right view of God's omniscience. God knows all. He knows everything about each of us, so there is no keeping secrets from God. We can't hide our sins.(Job 31:4) God knows both what we do and why we do it. He counts every step we make. That is how important we are to Him. Therefore, His judgment of us is always just.

This verse should be a wake up call for us. Honesty before God is essential. We are transparent to God, whether we want to be or not. He can't be fooled or tricked. We can't change our story with Him after we have done something or failed to do something. We might as well come clean and stay clean. Remember, Jesus is the Only One who can forgive our sins, because He is the God/Man who gave His blood and His life to pay for our sins and to die in our place. If you haven't trusted Him as Lord of your life and asked for His forgiveness while turning from your sins, please do it now. Also, after we have our sins forgiven, we need to stay right with God, so we can walk with Him closely. If we sin, it harms our relationship with Him, just like a wife who sins against her husband. She is still married, but their relationship is not good, until she confesses her sin to her husband and repents. Believers are the bride of Christ, so we must do the same thing.(I John 1:9)

Tomorrow, I intend to read Job 34-36.
