God Blesses Righteousness
Job endured his testing, and God blessed him for his righteousness. God always blesses righteousness.(Psalm 1:1,2) A righteous person is one who is in right relationship with God and who lives according to God's law. Job was a righteous man. Yes, he wanted to question God about his sufferings, and God had to show him how much he did not know. However, in everything Job went through he did not sin. His righteousness shone through his circumstances.
We are right with God when we trust Him as Lord of all. Today, we know that Jesus is Lord of all, and He came to deliver us from sin by dying on the cross for all mankind. Once we surrender to Him in repentance and faith, God forgives us and pronounces us cleansed from our sins and righteous before Him. Then, we are to live for Him. We do that by learning from His Word. We do not learn from sinful people or the world system and do it their way. We meditate on God's law and do it. Then, God blesses our righteousness.
In Job's case God decided to bless him twice as much, as he had been blessed before his testing. I am not sure how and how much God will bless you for your righteousness, but I know He always keeps His promises, so I know you will be blessed.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Psalms 2-5.
