The Power that Raised Jesus From the Dead
I had a great Easter Sunday, and I pray you did, as well. It is always a blessing to celebrate the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is exciting and humbling to think of what happened when Jesus came out of that tomb, victorious!
Tomorrow, what will Easter mean to you? Will the reality of Easter have any effect on your week or on the rest of your year? It should. The Bible clearly tells us in Paul's prayer for the Ephesian church recorded for us in Ephesians 1:15-23 that the same power that raised Jesus from the dead is available to all believers every day. He is with us to give us that resurrection power for any task or any personal need. There are too many Christians who fail to call on the Lord and to appropriate that power for their lives.
Please, do not let Easter be a once a year event in your life. Let Easter be a reality in your life each day of each year, as you live by trusting Christ as Lord of your life and relying on the power that raised Him from the dead.
Tomorrow, I intend to read II Chronicles 9-11.
