Prayer for Ramadan
The Islam holy month of Ramadan just started. All over the world Muslims will fast during the daylight hours and pray, so they can please their god, Allah. I don't know if you know any Muslims personally or not. However, this is a great time to pray for them.
Ramadan is the time that we, as Christians, should pray for the One True God to reveal Himself to the Muslim people all over the world, as they fast and pray. What better time to pray for them? They are seeking to enhance their spiritual standing. If God reveals Himself to them at this time, it could have an even greater impact on their lives than at other times.
God has been answering these kinds of prayers by believers all over the world. He sends dreams to Muslim people, and they realize that the God of the Bible is the True God, and Jesus is the Lord and Savior of the world. It is amazing how God works in this way to draw people to the truth who are resistant to traditional ways of sharing.
Please, join me in praying for Muslims in this way during Ramadan. I know the Lord will honor our prayers. He loves Muslim people, and He wants them to come to the knowledge of the truth and come to know Christ. I pray that we would have God's heart for Muslims, too.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Isaiah 55-57.
