Peace of Mind
I believe everyone can have peace of mind no matter the circumstances of life they are facing. In these days of economic uncertainty there is no need to be overcome with fear for the future. As we see the radical terrorism around the world, there is no need to live in fear. God's Word is very clear in Isaiah 26:3. The blessing of God to everyone who keeps his or her mind stayed on Him is perfect peace. This is not a peace like the world gives, but it is a supernatural perfect peace. Of course, Paul knew that peace, too, so he was inspired to remind us that the peace that passes understanding is available to all who prayerfully entrust their concerns to the Lord. (Philippians 4:6-7) God's peace is a soft pillow.
Why can we have peace like this? The answer is the character of God. He is All-loving, All-powerful, and All-wise. Therefore, we can trust Him to do the right thing in each situation. The main thing is for us to do the right thing by keeping our focus on Him.
