A Blessing for You
In the Bible we read about a lot of times when a blessing is pronounced on another person. It is a statement of what would be good for the other person. At times, blessings were pronouncements of God's will for the life of that person. In that spirit I have a blessing from God's Word for all of us today.
May you be completely faithful to the Lord your God. (I Kings 8:61) May you always obey His decrees and commands. Hopefully, you are already being obedient to Him today, and I pray you will just continue in that life of holiness
This blessing is meaningful, because the best life any of us can live is by being completely faithful to the Lord. We must not pick and choose what we want to obey. We must read God's Word and listen to the Holy Spirit. Then, whatever God says, we must be determined to do it fully
If we are not doing this today, our lives are deficient. Let's decide to turn to the Lord Jesus today for the first time, in repentance and faith or to return to Him today in confession of our sins. Then, let's walk with the Lord daily in complete obedience from now on.
