God Carried You

It is important for us, as believers, to stop and let God show us where we are in our life. It is so easy to get busy and to get wrapped up in all of the regular events of life that we do not really see where we are at that point in our life. Let's not allow that to happen. Let's step back and look at where we are, so we can appreciate all that God has done for us. Yes, if we will do this, we will see how God carried us many times to get us through the hard places of life. Also, we will see how He was always there with us in every circumstance of our life. Then, we should take time to thank Him for bringing us through by His hand and His power. That is what Moses said Israel should have done, as they approached the Promised Land. (Deuteronomy 1:31) If they would have looked back, they could have seen how God carried them, as a father carries his son. They would have seen His presence with them all along the way on their journey to Canaan. However, they failed to see all that God had done, and they failed to trust Him to help them take over Canaan. Let's not make the same costly mistake.

Please, never allow yourself to think that you are who you are and you are where you are at in your life by your own intellect and power. That is a huge insult to God. It is a result of pride and listening to Satan, as he tempts us not to trust the Lord, but to trust ourselves. If we give into that temptation, we are doomed to fail in life. We will not accomplish what God has for us, and we will not receive His blessings, but His anger will be against us because of our pride. Let's humble ourselves and look back. Let's remember our greatest trials. If we are sensitive to what has happened, we will have to admit that we could not handle those things on our own. We will be able to see that God carried us. This should increase our faith for the next things that happen. We should trust Him more and know He never leaves us. This will lead us in God's will, and it will lead us into His blessings. That is why I want us all to watch and see how God has carried us, at times, so we will trust Him more and more.
