How to have Hope Every Day

Many believers are stressed and even depressed on a daily basis. We might think that would be impossible, but it is not. Satan is good at getting us to focus on the dangers and problems of life. When we do that, we can get greatly burdened very quickly. That is what our human nature tells us to do. However, Jeremiah knew how to have hope every day. (Lamentations 3:21-23) What he had learned from all of his terrible trials works for every believer and for every situation of life. Let's meditate on these things for a while.

Every day, we need to start the day with the Lord and His Word. That way, we can remind ourselves every day of the things that bring us hope from the Lord. The Lord's lovingkindnesses never cease. That means God never ceases to show us that He is our Father, and we are His children. He acts in various ways to show His love and mercy to us, but we have to look for those things, or they will be passed over and forgotten. The Bible is full of examples of the way God keeps His covenant with us, as believers. Then, we need to remind ourselves every day that His compassions are new every morning. God was good to us yesterday, but He did not get finished showing us His love and caring for all of our needs. He has new ways to show us how merciful He is today. I think we can all see from these things that God's faithfulness is great! We can always count on Him, so we always have hope from the Lord, as we remind ourselves of these things.
