If You Stick With This

 There are a lot of people who claim to believe in Jesus as their Lord and Savior. However, there is no evidence from their lives to support that claim. How do we know if they are really followers of Jesus or not? Jesus answered that question for us after many people had heard Him teach and claimed to believe in Him. (John 8:31,32) Jesus was very clear that we will stick with our belief, and live out what He has told us, if we are His disciples. When we live it out, we will experience the truth, and the truth will free us. I believe this message needs to be heard by a lot of people today.

If we are true believers in Jesus, followers of Jesus, we will stick with Him and His Word. We will not make a decision at 10 years old, or 16 years old, and go to church for a while before dropping out for the rest of our life. We will continue reading the Bible and living it out every day in how we live and speak. There will be a definite change in our hearts that leads to a change of actions. Then, the more we live out the truth of His Word, the Bible, the more we will be free from the sins that hold us back. We will be free from the failures that plague so many people. Why is this true? Jesus is the Truth, and when we live out our relationship with Him on a daily basis, we know the truth and He guides us in His will. When we will in His will, our life is so much better than anything else we can do.
