How to Live the Christian Life
I am convinced that there are a lot of Christians who do not know how to live the Christian life. They have never been taught what the Bible says, and they have not grown in the Lord because of this. When this happens, it causes them all types of problems, since immature Christians can't handle the problems and stresses of life. Paul showed us the keys to living the Christian life, once we come to know Jesus as Lord of our lives. (Colossians 2:6,7) These instructions are vital for every Christian to truly live the abundant Christian life.
The Christian life is not difficult. It is impossible without trusting the Lord and living in His grace. That is why Paul commands us to continue to live in Christ after our conversion in the same way we came to know Him. We were saved by grace through faith. (Ephesians 2:8,9) We could not forgive our own sins, we had to admit our sin, repent of it, and ask the Lord Jesus to forgive us by His grace and become the Lord of our life. Therefore, we must live every day by grace through faith. We have to admit to the Lord each day that we can't to His will in our power that day, and ask for His grace to empower us. Then, we can do His will for us, as we are rooted and built up in Him. We depend on Jesus more and more, like a plant that grows to maturity. We must become established in the faith, knowing the Word of God and the ways of God. Then, we do them by grace through faith. All the while we have gratitude for the fact that Jesus not only saves us from our sins, but He is there to walk with us through life each day, and He will help us as we trust Him, as Lord of our life.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Colossians 3-4 and I Thessalonians 1-2.
