Not Ashamed of the Gospel
The gospel of Jesus Christ is very important. I wonder how many of us could explain it to another person in a clear concise way? I believe that is something that every believer ought to be able to do, and we should do it every chance we get. Why would I say that? The reason I say that is because the gospel is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes. (Romans 1:16) Salvation is more important than anything else in life. Without salvation we are doomed to an eternity of punishment, but with salvation we have a fantastic life forever and ever.
The good news is that Jesus Christ is God who became a man, because He loved us so much, and He was the only One who could pay for our sins. It took Jesus, the perfect God/Man to shed His perfect blood and to die in our place to pay the sin debt we all have. Now, anyone who believes that He came, lived a sinless life, died on the cross, was buried, and rose again as Lord of all receives salvation from God as a free gift. We could never earn it or deserve it, but He will give it to us freely, if we surrender in faith to the Lord Jesus, as our personal Lord and Savior. That is truly the best news ever. Jesus paid it all. All to Him we owe, because all have sinned, and He purchased salvation by His death and resurrection. I pray that we all will believe in Him and experience the power of the gospel to save us.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Romans 3-5.
