No Divisions Among You
God is the God of unity and interdependence. He knows that there is only one truth and that is His truth. He knows we need each other to grow and become mature in Him. Therefore, it is never His will for there to be divisions among His people. (I Corinthians 1:10) This only makes sense, because we all have the same Father, the same Lord Jesus, the same Holy Spirit, and we all read from God's Word. Sadly, this is not the case in many churches and in Christianity as a whole, because we do not listen to our Father, our Lord, the Holy Spirit, and His Word.
Truly, we should never have divisions among believers, because God's purpose is that we be united in Christ. He wants to give us the elements of unity, if we will listen well to His Word by the illumination of the Holy Spirit. If we will do that, we will have the same understanding of the doctrines and principles of God's Word. Also, if we follow the Spirit, we will have the same conviction about what we should believe and do based on the principles of the Bible. When we have the same understanding and conviction, we will have true supernatural unity. There will be no divisions, and others will see that this could only happen from the work of God in our lives, so they will be drawn to Him, as well.
