Another Prayer Promise
This year we have been concentrating on the promises of God as we read through the Bible. There are so many wonderful promises, it is impossible to highlight all of them. Many of the promises are connected with prayer, since prayer is such a vital part of our lives, as believers. Today, let's focus on another prayer promise from Paul in the book of Romans. Did you know the Spirit helps is in our prayers? (Romans 8:26) In fact, His help is amazing, but we may not even be aware of what He is doing for us when we pray.
I imagine we have all had the feeling that we need to pray about a particular thing, but we do not know what to pray for as we should. Don't worry. We are all weak in this way at times. However, in those times the Spirit intercedes for us. He takes what we have in our hearts, but we don't know what to ask or how to ask it, and He prays to the Father for us. Of course, He always prays the right thing and in the right way. He doesn't even have to speak to the Father, but He prays with unspoken groans, as He feels what is in our hearts. Then, because of His help, we see answers to prayers that we thought would not have been effective at all. Therefore, it is always important to pray the best we can and let the Holy Spirit to the rest. He never fails to support us in our prayers.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Romans 9-11.
