The Kind of Prayers God Answers

Daniel was a very faithful and righteous believer. He sincerely wanted to know God's will and to do God's will. He had questions about the future and even asked God to show Him what would come to pass. God answered his prayers in an extraordinary way. (Daniel 10:12) I believe we all need to take a few lessons away from what the Bible tells us about Daniel and how he prayed, so we can have our prayers answered, too.

Daniel did not pray to tell God anything or to get Him to do what he wanted him to do. Daniel purposed in his heart to understand the will of God and His plans. God loves to tell His children His will, and He wants us to know His plans, so we can join Him in what He is going to do. Also, Daniel was humble in his praying. He was fully submitted to God and to doing His will. He knew that without God he could know nothing and do nothing, so he was dependent on God for everything. That was his attitude as he prayed for these things. If we will pray like that God will hear our prayers and answer our prayers.
