There is No Savior Besides the Lord
We hear many people today say that there are many paths to God. I believe they sincerely believe this, because they see all of the religions of the world, and they think that they are similar. However, that is not true. They can't all be correct, since they are so different in their beliefs about God and salvation. There is either one God or many gods. Salvation is either by grace or by works. There has to be a solution for the sins of all people. Only one solution makes sense. There is only one Lord and He is the Only Savior for the whole world. (Isaiah 43:11) Isaiah gave us this truth, but we see it throughout the Word of God, and it makes more sense than any other explanation for the human condition and salvation.
It takes intelligence to create order and intelligence. A building is not built by an explosion. We must have been created by an All-knowing, All-powerful God. That is the God of the Bible. He is the Lord, Lord of all. He set all of the universe in order, and He created us. He gave us a free will to choose to love Him and follow Him. However, we have all chosen to disobey Him. That is sin. Sin separates us from from our holy God. That sin causes us problems. It leads us away from God, and it leads to death. Only God could save us from our sins. God became a man, while remaining fully God, Jesus, the God/Man. He lived a sinless life, took all of our sins upon Him on the Cross and died in our place. Now, if we repent of our sins, trust Him as our Savior, and surrender Him as Lord, we are saved. He is the Only Savior for the whole world.
