An Awakening in Egypt and Elsewhere
God cares about every country, every people group, in this world. Even in the Old Testament time God was making plans to send Jesus into the world and to have the good news of Christ spread to all of the world. Egypt had been such an enemy of the Jews, but God loves the Egyptians. Isaiah foretold of a day when they would come to know the Lord and worship Him. (Isaiah 19:21) This is a well documented awakening that happened already, which makes it a fulfilled prophecy in God's Word.
Before the time of Christ many Jewish people went to live in Egypt. There were places of worship there, so that when Jesus came and died for our sins, the early Christians took the gospel to Egypt, like Paul and Peter took it to other parts of the world. Jews were saved, and many of the Egyptians came to know the Lord just as Isaiah prophesied. By the fourth century A.D. there was a thriving church in Egypt. Of course, Islam took over after that, killing the believers unless they changed to their beliefs.
Many prophecies like this one have two fulfillment. One in the past and one near the end of time on this earth. Wouldn't it be wonderful to see another awakening in Egypt and other countries? God can do it. He has done it before. Let's pray that God would once again make Himself known in America and all around the world, so we could experience another great awakening before it is time for Jesus to come again.
