God is My Salvation
I pray that all of us have come to realize that we can't depend on our own intellect and power to deliver us from the trials and temptations of life. God is our only true source of salvation or deliverance when we need to be rescued. Because of that, we should all trust Him as Isaiah had learned to do, so that He becomes our strength and our song, as He saves us from our enemies. (Isaiah 12:2) Isn't that really the key to living life in victory?
There are so many defeated Christians. How can that be when we belong to the King of Kings and Lord of Lords? The truth is that God delivers those who trust Him daily. It is those people who have learned how not to be afraid of the situations in their lives. When we trust the Lord, not only is fear banished, but He is our strength and our song. He empowers us to sing in the midst of life's greatest troubles, because He is the song of our hearts. Therefore, we all need to be able to say with the prophet, "God is my salvation." Then, we will experience the abundant life He wants us to enjoy every day.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Isaiah 14-16.
