The Glory of the Lord

When the tabernacle was all completed, God commanded Moses to set it up. Once it was set up completely, the glory of the Lord descended on the tent of meeting as a thick cloud. Moses was not able to enter the tabernacle, because the presence of God was so intense. (Exodus 40:35) Lord may You be so pleased with our worship tomorrow Lord that Your glory would fall on us, too.

When we worship the Lord, we are not only praising Him in song and through prayer and the preaching of the Word, but we are seeking the glory of the Lord, His holy presence. There are times when the presence of God is so real that many hearts are touched, and no one can doubt the extreme glory of the Lord being in that place. In Acts 4 there was a literal shaking of the place where the disciples met for prayer and worship. We need the fire of God to come; we need His shaking to occur, if only the shaking of individual hearts. Would you join me in praying for this to happen in your church family tomorrow? In fact, that should be our prayer every week and every time we go to meet with Him in private or in a group.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Leviticus 3-5.
