"Return to Me," says the Lord of hosts
Whenever we get away from the Lord, it is because we drifted away from Him. He did not leave us. The love of God is steadfast and true. Our love wanes, and we get distracted. That is why we need to hear from the prophet Zechariah's message to the people of God. (Zechariah 1:3) How close to God are you right now?
October 19-21 we are having Revival Services with 2 other churches in our area. Revival is for Christians. The reason we need regular times of revival is that we get away from a close relationship with God, and it is our duty to return to the Lord. If we take the first step to return to Him, then He returns to us. That means that revival depends on God's people.
I pray that we all will experience the presence of the Lord in His fullness. He is the Lord of hosts, the Lord of all the armies of heaven. Real life is walking closely with Him every day. If you are away from the Lord, please, return to Him today. Do not delay. Do it with all of your heart. It will be the best thing you could do right now to improve your life.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Zechariah 2-4.
