Happiness is ....
Happiness is what most people are searching for. Unfortunately, few find real happiness. What is happiness to you? David told us a way that we can be happy. (Psalm 146:5) I believe it is worth considering.
Happy is the person who has the God of Jacob helping him or her. In other words, happiness comes from knowing the Only True God, and receiving the benefits of having a relationship with Almighty God. What do you need? God can and will supply it to those who trust Him, if it is really what will help us and make us happy. That insures true happiness.
Also, a happy person has real hope. Hope is knowing the future is secure. We have hope in the Lord, because once we know Him, we are assured He will walk with us through life on earth, and then He will take us to Heaven to be with Him. What could be better than that? That is where happiness comes from, too.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Psalms 149,150 and Proverbs 1,2.
