In The King's Name
God turned around a seemingly hopeless situation for the Jews in an incredible way. Mordecai was able to write a decree to overrule the previous decree, and he could send it in the name of the king and with the seal from his signet ring.(Esther 8:8) What an amazing blessing, but much the same thing happened for us.
We were all under the rule of sin and Satan, so that destruction was certain. However, Jesus turned it all around by His death for our sins and His resurrection to show His defeat of Satan. He wrote the decree overruling Satan's previous domination, and King Jesus signed it in His blood. Then, He gave each one who trusted Him as Lord of all, the seal of the Holy Spirit to prove the authenticity of the signature and guarantee the forgiveness of sins. Whatever is written in the Name of King Jesus can never be revoked. Praise the Lord!
