Help Us, O Lord

Asa had the right way of doing things. He did not try to do things by himself first, and then, if he failed, ask God for help. He went straight to the Lord for help.(II Chronicles 14:11) God answered his cries for help, too. We need to learn from his example.

Asa had a huge enemy. It was an army that was much bigger than his army. However, God is not limited. He can help those who have a lot of power or those with no power. All God wants is for us to trust Him for His will to be done. When we do that, He can give us the victory over any enemy. He can turn back the assaults of people or Satan himself.

What do you need today? Look at Asa's prayer, and pray a sincere prayer of faith from your heart. See what God does.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Ii Chronicles 16-18.
