The Baby is Lord of All
Merry Christmas everyone! Today, we celebrate the day the Lord of all came to earth as a baby. As amazing as that sounds, it is true, and it is wonderful! The baby in the manger entered time and space, so He could take back what had been lost to Lucifer. Now, Jesus has the keys of Hades and Death, as well as all authority, given to Him by the Father.(Revelations 1:18) Jesus is the indisputable Lord of the universe.
Isn't it amazing that people want to make Christmas about Santa Claus and ascribe to him all kinds of supernatural powers? We do not need to do that. God came down to earth, so that He could supply the greatest gift to every household in the world for all times. He has the authority to forgive our sins, give us a place in heaven with Him, instead of in Hades with those who reject Him, and to ensure that death never interrupts our lives. Once we know He is Lord and trust Him as our personal Lord, we will never die and be separated from Him. Physical death is simply the door to life with Him in heaven.
I pray you will take some time to worship Jesus today. He is worthy! He is Lord of all, and He came to set you free from Hades and Death. Could there be a better gift than that? I don't think so.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Revelation 2-5.
