Power to the Weak
God gives power to the weak. The truth is that we all are weak. We all need His power. We may turn to other sources, but the Lord is the one who can supply the strength and understanding we need in all areas of life.(Isaiah 40:28,29) We should know this, but some people don't know about Him, and some have forgotten that He is the Source of all we need.
God doesn't faint. He never gets weary. He knows everything with perfect understanding. On top of these wonderful attributes He loves us. He wants to have a personal relationship with each of us, so that we can depend on Him, and He can meet our needs in His way and in His will. The relationship is needed to access the power and understanding. That is why Isaiah 40:31 assures us that these things come to those who "wait upon the Lord." We will only wait on Him, when we know and love Him. It is the condition of expecting Him to meet our needs, because we are living each day in a loving relationship depending on Him for salvation and everything that goes with it.
Are you weary and weak? Do you lack understanding of what life is about and what to do in your life? Turn to the Everlasting Lord of all in faith. Admit your need for salvation from sins. Put your trust in Jesus as Lord of your life, and experience new life in Him, in which God's power and mind are there for you every day. Are you weak and need your strength renewed? Wait on the Lord. Not just to get something from Him, but because you trust Him and love Him completely. He will see your heart and meet your need.
