Wisdom Brings Success

There are a lot of people who are struggling with life, and they can't figure out why things take so much energy. They try harder and harder, and things get more behind, instead of getting better. I know sometimes God allows us to go through times like that to teach us things, but that is not normal. He wants us to enjoy an abundant life. If we are missing His will because we are not following His wisdom, it is like using a dull ax. It takes a lot more strength to do the same job that we would do with a sharp ax. It takes wisdom to know when and how to sharpen the ax.(Ecclesiastes 10:10)

Don't go through life just working harder and harder to do the simple things. Stop and seek the Lord's wisdom. It brings success to any area of life when correctly applied. You can do it your way, but you won't be successful, or if you are successful, it will wear you out, instead of lifting you up. Take time to consider what God says about each part of life, and just do it His way. Stop being stubborn. It doesn't help. God isn't trying to wear you out. He wants the best for you, but you have to listen. Sharpen your ax by applying His wisdom, and watch what happens. You will be amazed at how well a sharp ax does the job.
