Our God Does Whatever He Pleases
It is pretty amazing to stop and consider our God. He is not limited in any way. He is All-powerful, All-knowing, and All-loving. He can and does do whatever He pleases.(Psalm 115:3) He has no limitations and cannot be manipulated to do anything He doesn't want to do. If we praise Him and pray to Him with this in mind, it will change our lives.
God always does the right thing in every situation, because He always wants to do the right thing. He is completely holy, and He is love. We should never desire to get our way with Him, because we do not know everything, and we are not completely loving. When we pray, we are seeking His will to be done. Even when He answers our prayers, He does what is in line with His character. He never does what we please, if it doesn't line up with what He pleases to do.
Therefore, He deserves all of our praise. We should fearfully be in awe of our God, who can do whatever He pleases. We can't cause Him to stop or change, because we disagree with Him. He is in control. Let's relax and let Him take control of our lives, so that we do whatever He pleases, not what pleases us.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Psalms 117-120.
