The Lord Reigns
There is a basic truth that the whole world needs to hear, "The Lord reigns." There are so many people who live in the darkness of superstition and animism. They find a spirit behind every bush. There are so many who reject the notion of God from an intellectual angle, but they have no idea from whence the universe sprang. How can nothing create something, or how can some explosion create order? They have no answers, but they hold to their pride and rejection of the Lord. Then, there are many people who just ignore God, even though they know He is there somewhere. They fail to acknowledge Him as Lord over all the world. These groups all miss this vital truth, along with all the others who follow false gods.
Once people bow to the Lord, and submits to His authority, their life changes. It is no longer about them, but about Him. They realize their insignificance, and they see their need for a Savior, Jesus Christ. That is why all the people groups need to hear, "The Lord reigns."
