David's Last Doxology
When David was handing over the throne to Solomon, he gave one last doxology before the people to give all of the praise to the Lord for his life and for all he had seen God do.(I Chronicles 29:11) I hope you will read the whole thing if you haven't read it lately, but I just want to emphasize this verse right now.
The greatness belong to God, because He is the greatest of all. He has all power and all glory. The victory and the majesty belong to Him. He owns everything, because He created it all, and He sustains it all. He is the Ruler of The Kingdom, the only one that matters for eternity. Therefore, He is to be exalted as Head over all.
I pray that you know the Lord and His position in the universe. He has no equal, yet He wants to be your Father. Jesus is the One and Only God who became man for us. Now, He wants to be our Savior and Friend. The Holy Spirit is the True God, and He is always with us wherever we go to fill us and lead us into all truth. The God of the universe is there to have a relationship with you.
Tomorrow, I intend to read II Chronicles 2-4.
