Jesus is Lord Of All
I believe that Jesus is the Lord of all. Therefore, I believe He is worthy of all of our devotion in every area of life.(Luke 14:33) Jesus told us that if we do not forsake all for Him, we cannot be His disciple. That sounds drastic to some people, but it is very logical if Jesus is Lord.
To Whom do we owe our lives and our existence? Jesus. From Whom does everything come that we are blessed to have? Jesus. How are we delivered from our sins and set free to have eternal life? Jesus. It is obvious that since we owe everything to Him, we should forsake all for Him.
Life is not about us. It is about how much glory we can give to the One who gave Himself for us, so we can have real life.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Luke 17-20.
