Ready For Revival

Our church family begins revival services tomorrow morning with Phil Covone as our guest evangelist. Phil is a unique preacher, because he is planting a Spanish speaking church in our area, and now, he is being led of the Lord to engage in evangelism and missions in both Spanish and English. I have a great sense of anticipation about what God will do through Phil's messages and through these services. I am ready for revival, are you?

It seems to me that all believers should be ready for revival all of the time. None of us are perfect. We are fond of saying that. Therefore, we can always make improvements in our relationship with the Lord and in our spiritual lives. That is what revival is all about. Only those who do not want to grow are not ready for revival, because God will not overrule their hearts. If we are not interested in getting closer to Him, He will not force us. However, if there is any apathy toward spiritual things in our hearts, it should be a huge concern. I pray that we all will yearn for real Spirit led revival. I pray that our church family will take advantage of these services to seek it with all of our hearts.

Tomorrow, I intend to read II Samuel 14-16.
March 26 – Luke 14:16-24
Ask God to show you people around you who need the Lord or who need to be in church. It might be an acquaintance, a co-worker, or someone you do not even know. However, as the Spirit prompts you, share your testimony with them, or invite them to come to the revival services.
