Christmas Gives Us Hope
How many times do we allow ourselves to be hindered by a lack of hope? True believers should not have that problem, but we do. We forget the miracle of Christmas. We forget that a virgin had a baby. We forget that the baby was the Messiah sent from God. He came to save us from our sins and to shepherd us forever, if we will trust Him. All of that screams hope just like the angel told Mary, "For nothing will be impossible with God."
What do you think is impossible in your life? I am talking about things you need. Do you realize that none of those things are impossible with God? If they are God's will, they will happen as you continue to trust Him, and you do not lose hope. Most of the time we give up before we receive what God has for us. Many times we go ahead and do it our own way, which is very inferior. Then, we complain that God did not come through. We lose our hope in God. I am glad Mary and Joseph didn't do that.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Micah 4-5 and Revelation 12.
