A Hebrew Boy, A Son of Pharaoh's daughter

There are some real life events that are so amazing that no one could have made up anything more spectacular if they were trying. That is just how God works to bring about His will for our lives. He engineers the thoughts and actions of people, even without forcing them to do what they decide to do. Then, He uses their lives to accomplish the miraculous.

That is definitely what happened in the life of Moses. He was born a Hebrew slave in Egypt, who was supposed to be drown in the Nile River, but God used his mother to prevent that. She made a little boat for him, and then put him in the river, as instructed by Pharaoh. The daughter o Pharaoh saw him and adopted him. He was nursed by his own mother for pay. (Exodus 2:10) When the child grew, his mother brought him to Pharaoh's daughter, and he became her son. She named him Moses, and said, "Because I drew him out of the water."  How amazing is that?

We should never doubt the ability of God to work in the lives of people to bring about His perfect will. He doesn't force us to do His will, but He knows us so well that He can tell who would do what He needs them to do. He helps them along, and soon everything is in place for His will to be done in His way.

This is true in our lives, just like in Moses's life. He was the prefect person to deal with Pharaoh to bring the Hebrews out of Egypt because He was brought up in his palace. You and I are the persons we are at this point in our lives, because God has led us to make us able to do His will in His way. We simply have to cooperate with Him and trust Him to work in us and through us.
