God Blesses Generous People

Many people are stingy. They do not consider the needs of others, because they are so focused on gaining wealth for themselves. This leads them not to help people around them when they have special needs. God can't bless those people, because God wants us to be generous, like He is.

The psalmist assured us of this. (Psalm 112:4,5) He said that light shines in the darkness for godly people. Those people are generous, compassionate, and righteous. Good comes to those who lend money generously and conduct their business fairly. This truth is stated in God's Word many times.

God blesses godly people by giving them light to see things that others can't see well. In this dark world most people are groping to find the right way to go, but not the righteous. They know it is right to be generous, compassionate, and righteous. When they live that way God blesses them. 

Good comes to them from God and from other people because they lend money generously. They are not stingy. They care about others, and they do what is right in God's eyes and in the eyes of others. They conduct their business fairly. They know God is watching, and they want others to see that they will always treat them right. This leads to God's blessings, too.
