Bringing Salvation to the Earth

 Everyone on earth is looking for some kind of salvation from the sin or from the problems of life. Unfortunately, the devil has done a good job of deceiving most of the people with false religions and philosophies, so they are looking in all the wrong ways. We know that our only hope for salvation on this earth comes from the One True God.

The psalmist wrote about this long ago. (Psalm 74:12) He proclaimed that God was his King from ages past, and he knew that God was the One bringing salvation to the earth. We all should praise the Lord for His sovereign rule and His love that reveals to us His plan of salvation from sin and His goodness to deliver us from all kinds of needs.

Sin is the greatest problem facing all people on the earth. There is no human remedy for this condition. God knew that we would sin, so He decided to send Jesus to die for our sins and rise again, even before He created Adam and Eve. His salvation is complete and eternal for all who trust Him by faith. It can never be accomplished by our works.

Then, when we have troubles on the earth, we should look to our King to solve those problems, too. He is all-wise and all-powerful. He will always show us the way to be saved from those troubles. If we look to human solutions, we will only make things worse, because we are going against what the King of the universe would do.
