God's Unfailing Love

 In this world we are used to things failing. We have to buy new appliances when they wear out and fail to function. We have people who fail to do their jobs. Sadly, we are aware of parents who fail to love and protect their children. This reality can make us skeptical about anything that would never fail.

David knew that he could trust in one thing, at least. (Psalm 13:5-6) He let everyone know that he was going to trust in God's unfailing love. He was going to rejoice because God had rescued him. David sang to the Lord because God was good to him. I pray we can all rest on these truths, too.

God's love never fails. God is love, and He will never stop loving any of us. He always does what is best for us, and He does it out of His unfailing love. When we are in trouble, He rescues us, so we can rejoice in the Lord always.

We can and must sing to the Lord with all of our heart because of His goodness to us. Even as we have had serious problems, His goodness and blessings are always greater than the trials and pains of life. God sustains us by His grace each day. Therefore, we should have a song in our heart and on our lips all the time, rejoicing in His unfailing love.
