Worthy is the Lamb

 On this Christmas Day 2022 Jesus is worthy of all of our praise. He is worthy of all of our thanks. In fact, Jesus is worthy of any good thing we can give to Him. Today we celebrate His birth, God coming to earth to become a man, the God/Man, Jesus Christ. He came out of great love for all people. He took on human flesh, so He could die for us as the Lamb of God. He is the Only One who could have saved us from our sins, and HE DID IT! Praise the Lord Jesus! He defeated sin, Satan, and death. Now all of the angels in heaven who surround the throne of God are praising the Lamb of God. (Revelation 5:12) John heard it himself, as they said, "Worthy is the Lamb who was slaughtered to receive power and riches and wisdom and strength and honor and glory and blessing." I believe that covers it very well, don't you?

Therefore, this Christmas shouldn't we all make it our aim to show Jesus how worthy He is to us? Yes, Christmas should be all about praising Jesus for being willing to save us and being able to save us. It should not be about what gifts we will receive or what we can eat. Let's make sure that we line up with the angels in heaven and give Him all the honor and glory He deserves. Let's gather with our brothers and sisters in Christ to raise joyful songs of worship for Jesus, our Lord. Let's make sure the whole world knows that Christmas is all about Jesus, and He alone is worthy! Merry Christmas to all!
