God has done Glorious Things
We are excited when we hear a story about some fantastic thing that has happened. We are in awe of it, and we want to share it with everyone we see. It is just human nature. When something thrilling happens, it makes the news. Just think of the times we have heard about someone being healed from cancer. We tell others about that don't we? When we see the underdog win a battle, we rejoice and tell others, even if it is just a ballgame. We love to hear about glorious things that happen around us, and we love to tell others. That is what the Bible says we should do about the glorious things the Lord has done. (Isaiah 12:5) We should sing to the Lord and praise Him for doing glorious things. Then, we should let the whole world know that He has done these things. Are we excited about what the Lord has done the way we should be?
God created the whole universe in its majesty. We are reminded of this every day. Do we share that with others to give God glory? God gave David the power to defeat Goliath with a sling and a stone? When was the last time we told someone that glorious event in history. God has restored His people, the Jews, to Israel in a miraculous way. We should be praising God and telling the world about how God is working. However, the main thing is that God sent Jesus to live a perfect life and to be crucified for our sins. Then, He raised Him from the dead to show His glory and the certainty of our salvation. What a glorious thing! Let's be intentional about telling others about Jesus and the other glorious things of the Lord, so they can marvel, too, and come to know Jesus themselves.
