God's Justice and Power
Many times we get depressed over bad circumstances in our lives. We look at the troubles, and we think there is no way to stop them from happening. However, if we look to the Lord, we will know that nothing is impossible with God, and we will know we can trust Him to do the right thing for our situation. We must always look to the Lord and focus on Him, not on our problems. We see this principle in action in the life of Mordecai. He was a Jew in exile in Persia. He was not a powerful person. However, when Haman made his plot to kill all of the Jews, Mordecai and the rest of the Jews joined Queen Esther in fasting and praying for 3 days with no food or water. Then, God heard their prayer, delivered the Jews, and Haman was hung on the gallows he built for Mordecai. What a turn of events. Mordecai was taken in to the king, and he left in royal robes, fine clothes, and a large gold crown. (Esther 8:15) Then, the whole city of Susa rejoiced, because they were glad to hear God's vindication of the Jews. I hope we all see how this applies to all believers today.
God is good. He is just. He always does the right thing to bring justice when His people pray and seek His face. He can and will turn the tables on the enemies of His people and His Word. However, the key is for God's people to be faithful. We must not give up. We must not be negative or depressed. We must pour out our heart to Him with prayer and fasting. Then, God sees, and He can change our circumstances in a moment, or work His will over a period of time. He knows what is best, and we must trust Him to do His perfect will. Therefore, all believers should live with constant hope and constant knowledge of God's justice and power. We should never give up, knowing God's timing is perfect. We must not be impatient or demanding of God, but trust Him as our Good Father. What is it you need today? Go to the Lord and trust Him to do the right thing in His great power.
