What A Creation!
Do you realize you are a masterpiece created by God to be just who you are? I believe if more of us knew this truth, we would stop being so dissatisfied with ourselves. Just let it sink in for a minute. The same Perfect God, who created the universe with a design that all works together created us in such a way that we can interact with our world in a meaningful way. King David, the master psalmist, revealed this truth about 3,000 years ago. (Psalm 139:13.14) Please, listen to what God inspired him to write about each of us. It will be such a blessing to know this and to quit putting ourselves down.
God shaped us first on the inside, then on the outside. He started when we were still in our mother's womb. We are not an accident. We are not just a combination of our parents DNA. We are a unique individual, formed by God for His glory. We should be so thankful that God cared so much for us that He would personally form us in His wisdom. He is the High God, and He is breathtaking in His love and desire for us to have a relationship with Him and with other people. He formed our bodies. Yes, He crafted our body well. We may have abused it, but that is not God's doing. We are the right height, and we will be the right weight, if we eat a balanced diet. He made every detail of our body, and we are awesome. We should never say we don't like how tall we are, or the type of hair we have. All of that came from God in His wisdom. He also formed our soul. which is our mind, will, and emotions. Our mind is just fine to do what God formed us to do. We are able to choose what God wants for us with our will, and He gave us just the right emotional make-up. Let's stop being negative about how we are, and let's realize we are wondrously made. Let's worship God in adoration for the great creation, the masterpiece, He made when He made us. Let's stand in awe of what He has done and exclaim, "What a creation!
