Perfect Peace
Life is very hectic today. There are a lot of stress producers all around us. It is easy to be overwhelmed by the busyness and the stress. However, God is the source for peace. In fact, He gives out perfect peace to certain believers. (Isaiah 26:3,4) What is the key to having perfect peace? Let's see what the prophet Isaiah revealed to us.
The key to having God's perfect peace is our mind. We must keep our mind stayed on the Lord, and we must do that because we trust Him. We know that we are unable to accomplish His will for our lives, which is the best plan for us, so we have to trust Him to supply His will and the power to do it. When we do that constantly, so that our mind is focused on the Lord out of trust, then, He will give us perfect peace. It all comes because we trust Him, and He is an "everlasting rock." That was Isaiah's way of saying that God is so steady we can always count on Him to come through for us, keeping us safe and causing us to have His stability in the midst of this hectic, stressful life. Therefore, we must decide to trust the Lord forever. That way we are kept in perfect peace all of the time, no matter what happens.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Isaiah 28-30.
