The Voice
There is a popular television show called "The Voice." It is a vocal competition, and millions of people tune in to hear the performers, because their voices are so spectacular. Of course, in the end only one is chosen as "The Voice" for that year. It is an interesting show, but when Moses heard "The Voice," I am quite sure it was even more thrilling and much more significant. (Number 7:89) When was the last time you heard "The Voice?" I am referring to the voice of the Lord.
God created us with the ability to communicate. I believe that is one way we were all created in His image. He is a communicator. He has a voice that can be audible or louder than that. He has no trouble speaking to people and making His message very plain. Just like when Moses heard the voice of God in the tabernacle coming from above the mercy seat between the two cherubim, we can hear His voice today. The Bible is clear that His children or His sheep hear His voice.(John 10:27) In fact, His children hear and follow Him.
That is why I am writing this and asking you this question. If you have not heard His voice, then it is pretty certain you do not belong to the Lord Jesus. I would urge you to turn to Him and follow Him with all your heart. If you do hear His voice, and you are following Him, how are you doing? The key to having life to the fullest is to follow Him in all He says to us.
