God With Us

Getting to the New Testament is always such a breath of fresh air after reading through all of the dire warnings of the prophets. Now, we see God's solution clearly presented for all to see and to believe. It is amazing, but it is true. A virgin, named Mary, became pregnant by the power of the Holy Spirit, so that she could bear a Son, who was both God and Man, but without sin. (Matthew 1:23) Jesus is Immanuel, "God with us." He came as the solution to all of our sin problems, so we could know God and walk with Him daily.

What a blessing to know that the Creator of the universe loves us so much that He would come down in bodily form to be the solution for all of our problems. He did not just provide a solution. He was the solution. That is true love. He came to be with us, so we could see Him and know Him. Also, He could relate to us by experience and not just by knowledge. Now, He knows all we go through so He can guide us and give us all we need. (Hebrews 4:15) He gave His blood and His life, so we could be forgiven for our sins and come to be right with God forever. When we trust Him He becomes life for us. (Galatians 2:20)

Let us revel in this truth today, and share with everyone that Jesus is the solution to all we need.
