O Lord, Open His Eyes
Elisha's servant was so afraid when he went outside, only to see a large army surrounding the house. However, when he told Elisha, the prophet was not afraid. He told him not to be afraid, because the ones who were with them were more than the army he saw. Then, he prayed for the Lord to open the eyes of his servant. When God answered, the servant saw that the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire. (II Kings 6:16,17) Have your eyes been opened to this truth?
God's angels encamp all around His people, when we are living in the center of His will. Remember, Satan is no match for God, and there are twice as many angels as there are demons. Therefore, if we are trusting the Lord, following His will, and depending on His power, there is no way the forces of the devil can harm us.
Lord, I pray for any of your children who are living in fear. Please Lord, open their eyes, and calm their fears. May they walk with you surrounded by your angels and having the power of the Spirit, so they live in victory each day.
Tomorrow, I intend to read II Kings 7-9.
