God's Desire For All People
God's heart is for every person to know that He is the Lord. That is what He was showing the Egyptians in the days of Moses, and that is what He is showing us today. (Exodus 7:5) Have you come to know He is Lord?
It is one thing to believe in God, but it is a totally different thing to know that God is the Lord. We can believe in God, and it not make any change in our lives. However, when we realize that He is Lord, things must change. God is the Creator of all things. He owns everything. He is in charge of the entire universe. When we see Him in that way, the only proper response is obedience.
However, God will not force us to bow our hearts to Him as Lord. He will not force people to trust Christ as Lord and Savior. It is our choice, even after He has proven Himself to us. Unfortunately, many people know He is Lord, but they do not respond in faith and obedience. They respond with pride and rebellion. Please, don't let that be your response to the Lord. He desires for you to know He is Lord, and to know Him personally as your Lord, so He can guide you in a life that is truly blessed. Don't miss out on God's desire for you.
Tomorrow, I intend to read Exodus 8-10.
