Fulfilled Prophecies are Our Proof
Some people want proof that God is real, and that the God of the Bible is the One True God. Since God is gracious, He has given us that proof. Every fulfilled prophecy is a proof that God is the Lord of all. (Ezekiel 20:42) Then, when we look at all of the fulfilled prophecies of the Bible, we see a very convincing proof. The odds against all of those things coming true exactly as they were foretold are so high that it proves God must be behind each one of them.
Just think about our ability to predict the future. It is very limited. In fact, if someone is able to predict the future even 50% of the time, that is amazing. However, the Bible is documented by history and archaeology, so that we know when it was written, and we can be sure what the original authors were inspired to write. Therefore, when they delivered many prophecies and all of them come true 100% of the time, it is a strong proof of God. There is no other religion in the world with a book that contains prophecies like the Bible. That is because God is the Only One who can know and tell the future. This should cause us to trust Him as Lord in all things.
