Waiting for a Convenient Time

There is no convenient time to be saved or to decide to fully follow the Lord. We always have other things to do and other concerns that Satan can use to get us to put off doing what we need to do. As Paul witnessed to the Roman governor, Felix, he was convicted of his need for the Lord, but he was afraid to trust the Lord, so he told Paul he would call him back at a convenient time.(Acts 24:25) He never found a convenient time, and that is the case for most people.

Now is the time for salvation, no matter what is going on in your life. Now is the time to decide to surrender to Jesus fully and follow Him forever, even if you are in the midst of huge challenges. Do not put it off or think that there will be a convenient time. Satan will make sure it is never convenient. However, it is the right thing to do. It is the best thing to do. We must decide to do what is right, not what is convenient. It is only then that we will see the results of fully following the Lord Jesus Christ.

Tomorrow, I intend to read Acts 25-28.
